2 Port 12V/24V Powered USB Adapter Card - "For true Powered USB (USB PlusPower) versatility, the PUSBADAP (2 Port 12V/24V Powered USB Adapter Card) can be used as a standalone installation, or as an expansion of the number of Powered USB (USB PlusPower) ports provided when installed with the PCI312PUSB (3 Port PCI 12V Powered USB Card), on the host computer. By linking the PUSBADAP (2 Port 12V/24V Powered USB Adapter Card) USB Header directly to the PCI312PUSB (3 Port PCI 12V Powered USB Card), you can create two additional Powered USB connections for a total of five Powered USB ports, without needing a second PCI slot for installation. Plus, with the PUSBADAP (2 Port 12V/24V Powered USB Adapter Card) you can also connect directly from the USB header on the daughter board to the PC motherboard, adding two Powered USB ports, while acting as a standalone Powered USB card."
