Returning Army Soldier About to Take Command of the Streets

Joey Bane is at first glance a normal young man. Returning from army service overseas, he appears to be a model citizen. However, the son of a murdered Mafia soldier, he’s returned to Buffalo Falls to seek revenge on those that pulled the trigger – and that means one thing for the inhabitants of this once peaceful town – chaos. 

The seedy underworld of the city is threatening to spill out into the public eye and turn the town into a running battleground of mob hate. Rumors are already flying about the ramifications this could have for the economy and the safety of the local residents. The situation surrounding Bane’s father’s death is still unclear as police remain reluctant to get involved and the criminals continue to dish out their own style of punishment – murder.


Lightning Strikes

Bane’s father was rumored to be running liquor for the mob when he was gunned down earlier this year. Bane’s uncle was also by his father’s side when the attack took place but he survived and is now believed to be operating as a mentor to Bane as he embarks on his brutal path of revenge and destruction. 

A so-called ‘friend’ of Joey, known only as Lightning Landucci, was unwittingly overheard talking about Bane’s return by one of our spies at the Herald. “The boss is fuming and some serious s*** is going down. There’ll be hell to pay if he ever gets his hands on Langham”

The man Landucci was referring to is Cain Langham, a high-ranking member of the Mafia operating in New Temperance who is believed to have ordered the ‘hit’ – a mob term for a murder – on Bane’s father. Security around Langham has been increased as he becomes more aware of the growing hostilities within the city, but the indications are that this could run deeper and higher up the complex mob structure than anyone initially realized. 


Underworld

The entire State of Temperance is swarming with characters from the criminal underworld with cities decayed by corruption and bribery. Another figure understood to be deeply involved with the illegal exploits occurring in the capital New Temperance, is Frankie Constantine. Rumours about the alleged Mobster put him at the helm of one of the most powerful and influential families this state has ever seen. If Joey Bane decides to go after Frankie as our underworld sources suggest, then the result could see the bloodiest gangland battle New Temperance has ever witnessed. 

Bane has already started putting together his own ‘family’ of gangsters and is being linked with a series of robberies, illegal trafficking and many more unsolved crimes within the community. Suggestions that numerous city officials are already on Bane’s payroll in return for information and tip-offs are as yet, unconfirmed. However, the city is gearing itself for years of violence and corruption at the hands of Joey Bane, the man with revenge on his mind and in his heart.
