Call the shots in an original murder case
Product Information
Law & Order: Dead on the Money is an exciting 3D game based on an original,
complex murder case created exclusively by a Law & Order television writer.
You'll step into the dramatic world of criminal investigation when you're called
to a crime scene in Manhattan's Central Park. You and your partner, Detective
Lennie Briscoe (actual voice of Jerry Orbach), will work to uncover the identity
of the victim, gather evidence, track down witnesses, and identify viable
suspects. Once you've got enough evidence to make an arrest, your supervisor,
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren (actual voice of S. Epatha Merkerson), will sign off
on your warrant. Once you've got the killer in custody, the focus shifts to
criminal courts. You'll work with Assistant District Attorney, Serena Southerlyn
(actual voice of Elisabeth Rohm), to build a compelling case that will convince
the jury to return a guilty verdict and convict the defendant.
Your role:
- Conduct Your Investigation
- Interview Key Witnesses
- Organize Your Case
- Present Your Findings to Lt. Van Buren
- Try Your Case in Court
- Follow Leads
- Search the City for Clues
- Build Your Case
- Convince the Jury
Product Overview
Hotshot investment broker Jenny Russ was found strangled in Central Park and you
must find her murderer. Was the killer an unhappy client, a former lover, or a
complete stranger? Step into the world of Law & Order to apprehend and
convict Jenny's murderer. When the defense attorney undermines your case,
it's up to you to track down last minute evidence and make deals with reluctant
witnesses to reveal the truth.
- You and your partner, Detective Lennie Briscoe, arrive at the crime scene.
Scour the entire area for clues and collect all the relevant evidence.
- Use the map of Manhattan to get around town. Throughout your
investigation, additional locations will appear on the map as you develop
new leads.
- You’ll encounter many witnesses during our investigation. Pull out your
notepad and fire away with your questions. Ask the right questions; get
closer to the truth. Ask too many wrong questions, and it’s back to square
one.
- Evidence and witness testimony you collect will appear in your Case File.
Use the forms to order a lab test, surveillance, background checks or a
psychiatric evaluation. You can also request search warrants and arrest
warrants.
- When the results are in, you’ll want to talk with the lab tech to get
the low-down on the reports. You’ll need to take advantage of all your
support staff to crack this case.
- Submit your arrest warrant and back it up with supporting evidence before
you’re thrown off the case. If Lt. Van Buren agrees, you and Briscoe will
pay the perp a visit and snap on the cuffs.
